Faith walked into the bank. She looked around and seemed busy. She waited in line. She wished she had someone there to talk to. The line grew smaller and smaller. It was around one or two in the afternoon. She smiled when she looked out the window. It was a bright sunny day. She had a great day planned after stopping there. While almost to the front of the line she heard a familiar voice. Faith hoped that she was not going to be caught not being at the school.

Johnathan turned away from the teller, still muttering under his breath about the stupitidy of Goblins and how they weren't fit to run a bank. he wasn't watching where he was going and bumped into Faith, and dropped a few Galleons. "oh, sorry." he said, gathering up the money.

Faith looked up and smiled. "Its okay. sorry if i was in your way." She moved to the side and forgot why she was there in the first place. The boy looked nice. She looked down and saw some money laying on the floor. "You dropped your money sir. What was your name? I am Faith," She said with a french accent. Then they called her name. She remembered she needed money. She smiled at him and started to walk away.

Of course Adina had made her way to Gringotts. How else was she supposed to gather the funds to pay for her schooling supply? Still, walking into that bank gave her the willies. She hated Goblins almost as much as she hated people who were prettier than herself - except Goblins had the opposite effect. She snarled as she entered, noticing the bank was already busy and she'd have to wait in line to withrdraw her funds. Adina Sparks wasn't used to waiting...She was used to being waited upon. Today only began and already it sucked.
She took her place behind two students, one whom she immediately recgonized as Faith Du Bois, a girl from her own house, and the other...Oh, yes. She recgonized him as well. Slimy Slytherin Scum. That's how all the little 'hissers' were. Scum. No good, rotten, scum. She cocked a brow, noticing he had ran into her and apologized almost immediately afterwards. Odd. Well, not exactly odd, not unless he was trying to bag her between the sheets sometime. Her blood boiled at the thought, and increased when Faith kindly took the blame upon herself. How...Gross.
You go to Hogwarts? The boy asked, obviously clueless to his surroundings. No, dimshit, Adina thought with a roll of her eyes, but kept her mouth shut. She's only a child in Gringotts to look pretty. Possibly Muggle. Get real.
"Ravenclaw," Adina said, intervining in their discussion, giving the Slytherin a hateful once over. "And your lot would be wise to steer clear from ours. Not unless you want the bristles of your brooms to go up in flames."

Johnathan backed away at once, apoligizing, then cocked his head to the side and his pupils seemed to enlarge. "what did you say?" he said in a voice that was almost sweet and childish, but had a severly disturbing edge to it. he then stepped forward slightly, pulling out his wand, begging the incantations of a flame curse under his breath.

Adina smirked. That was almost too easy. She gave his wand a glare, before slowly moving her blue eyes directly into his. There was something...Odd about the way the boy shifted in personalities. No, of course he didn't! That was an absurd thought. Still, the corners of her lips remained in place, and her smirk almost seemed to grow.
"What?" Adina asked, innocently, cocking a brow his direction. "You going to hex me? Right here in the middle of Gringotts, for everyone to see? Fat chance." She looked over at Faith, then flicked her golden locks behind her shoulder before giving the Slytherin her attention again. This was pathetic. Entertaining, but pathetic none the less. She put her hand on her hip, never bothering to remove her own wand, but challenging him none the less. "Not unless you want to be stripped of your wand and expelled from Hogwarts." Adina gave a chuckle, "And we wouldn't want that, now, would we?"
The older Ravenclaw wouldn't mind it so much. One less Slytherin in Hogwarts made the castle a brighter and shinier place, didn't it? Still, she watched the boy, careful not to miss a single movement of his. When it came to the hissers, one must always remain on guard. She had to give him credit, though, despite pulling out his wand in such a childish manner, he kept his voice calm and collect. Had she really offended him so badly? You'd think he'd be used to this kind of treatment by now. Everyone knew that Slytherins were the most dispised of all the houses.
"Why don't you put that thing away before you poke an eye out? You obviously have no idea what you're doing. Why, the fact that they even sold you a wand worries me."

Johnathan countered her smirk with a wide smile, the kind that psychotic murderers use. "no," he said, in the same sweet voice. "we wouldnt. and we wouldnt want a poor pathetic parasite of a Ravenclaw to get humilated for thinking i could get expelled with a father like mine." he then stepped closer to Adina, the smile seeming to be pasted onto his face. "proffesor Tomb is afraid of him. she wouldnt dare to expell me. but never the less, i'm going to take your advice, Ravenclaw, and not kill you like a could have done ten times by now." he then slipped his wand back into its sheath in his sleeve.

Adina's eyes widened slightly, then disappeared just as quickly. He was barking mad, that one...She made a mental note of his words, scarcely believing the mention of Professor Tomb's fear of his father. The woman was an Auror before a Headmistress, why in Aphrodite's Kiss would she be afraid of someone who bred the likes of this boy who stood before her? She rolled her eyes at him, "Well, you can only kill a person once, Slytherin," Adina spat.
The boy should brush up on his politics too, it wasn't Professor Tomb's call to expell him if the underage wizard used magic outside of school grounds. That was the decision of the Minister. It had happened before, it wasn't as though Hogwarts or even the United Kingdom was naive to such acts. "It's a shame you hide in your fathers shadow to prove your power," she wasn't necessarily speaking to him, but the words passed through her lips none the less. She looked over at Faith, who had been silent through this. Perhaps the English was too jumbled or threatening in nature for the poor forigner to comprehend. A tinge of guilt passed through her and for a moment she wanted to put her arm around the girl's shoulders, like that of a friend. But she wasn't Faith's friend, Adina only made friends with those who mattered, those who held enough charisma and pazazz to fit into her clique.
"So this is you?" Adina asked, deciding not to touch the Ravenclaw girl, and start the 'ignoring those who prove no interest to her' process early. "Come off like a poor, scared little puppy. Apologizing everytime you do something wrong," he had apoligzed to her, leaping backwards, earlier when she had snapped at him, hadn't he? Even though it happened only a few moments ago, the details were a bit fuzzy. "Trying to get what you want, usually attaining it without interuption - oh! I'm so sorry for interrupting you! - then tossing it away like used garbage? Well, I hate to break it to you, kid, but Ravenclaws hold more class than that. And when one is lacking the intelligence," she gave Faith a disgusting look, "the rest of us intervine."

Johnathan's smile dissapeared. "RAVENCLAW WITCH!!!!!!" he shrieked, whipping out his wand, the beginning syllables of the Cruciatus curse slipping out of his mouth before he could stop himself, but able to control himself by the time he was half finished with the curse. he then stepped back, his face the model of fury beyond words. "I, unlike others, do not hide in my fathers shadow, or anyones. i do not make friends for how rich they are, unlike certain individuals." Johnathan's voice began to mellow out, his pupils contracting to their normal size. "and i do not exclude those that are of no use to me." he said, pointedly to Faith.

Adina leapt backwards as he screamed at her, hands going straight for he pocket and pulling out her wand. Her heart thudded unnaturaly in her chest, her breath was caught in her throat, but her wand was held right at his chest. Screw the rules! If he was going to do anything to her, using that thing in his hands, she'd give him a bloody battle before she'd allow him to get the best of her. However, she couldn't move, her brain ran blank for counter-curses, counter-spells, when she heard what he was about to do to her. Primal instincts took over her and her entire being was filled with one emotion: Fear.
It was a strange experience for her, as Adina had never felt true fear a day in her life. Today changed that though, and the awful look in the furious boys eyes only added to that fear that had already consumed her. She was frozen. Was it the half cited unforgiveable or her flight or fright syndrome that had done it to her? She wasn't sure, but the fact remained that when charged in a dangerous situation, Adina lacked the moter skills to keep the upperhand.
He stopped the curse, though, and Adina felt her tense body relax, but only slightly. Everyone was looking at them, the goblins, the other wizards and witches. Idiots, Adina thought, fury beginning to replace the fear inside her. Why hadn't anyone stopped him? Run for help? Anything? A whirlwind of relief replaced that anger, though, realization settling in that he had not finished the curse. That she remained unharmed, she was okay.
A Ravenclaw was wise, at least that was the stereotype that was thrown around. Sure, they were wise with grades and books, some even held a little 'street smart' on their corner, but no one ever said that a Ravenclaw couldn't be stupid. Adina had pushed too hard, hunted for a reaction that she was in no way prepared to handle. The result was almost disasterous.
"You see what conversing with a Slytherin can do?" Adina asked Faith, her breath still a little shakey. "Point out their faults and they throw a temper tantrum." She glared over at the Slytherin boy, his name forgotten, a fact she was only to happy to keep. "And don't you lecture me about the way I handle my life, hisser." Adina said, her calm and collect attitude growing more and more as she spoke. She'd be dammed if she allowed him to think he had won her over with her fear of him. Respect comes from fear, her father had quoted. How stupid. She didn't respect this boy anymore than she respected a common criminal. "As Slytherin's always exclude those who are of no use to them. Power and Glory, right? Your lot can't afford to have any loose ends."

Faith looked at Adina with a little bit of a worried look. She turned to face them after her money was in her wallet. John seemed to be unsteady and have a lot of personalities. She remembered her cousin who was the same way and you would never know when she was ready to strike. This seemed to be the case with the slytherin. She moved to brace herself in case he was going to attack. She was now standing by her fellow house mate. She looked at Adina," They show their true colors. Such a same a person can be like that." Johnathan seemed to be on a attack with words. Trying to tear thier ego apart.
"Maybe you should run off and play with your own housemates Slytherin boy."

Johnathan started, surprised by their similar reactions. "i'm sorry." he said again, his head beginning to droop in what seemed to be depression. "i didnt mean to do that." he started to back away, still apologizing, half hoping that they would call him back, half knowing that they wouldnt.

Faith looked at him. She was starting to wonder if it was two different personalities or a bad day. Adina seemed well a little harsh now that she started to think about her. It was not like her to do. She half smiled and watched him backing away. Then wanted to ask him something. And she was going to do it even if her housemate did not approve. She walked towards him. "You having a bad day and this is why you are acting different?"
She put everything in her packets and was figuring on walking out of the bank. It was getting late and she was sure not going to get locked in. Faith still had a lot to do before she was going to head back to the school. She looked out the door at the gloomy whether. That then cuts down half of the errands. She didn't know Adina that well or Johnathan which was a year younger then her.

"no." Johnathan replied, continuing out the door. "it was Cy. he's my evil side, basically. i try to keep him in check. but sometimes, like the time you just saw, it doesn't work."
