Gage went down into hogsmeade. The day was a little over cast with some of the sun going through the clouds. The clouds were a dark gray. Looking like it wanted to shower the world in tiny drops of rain. Gloomy day for the mood that Gage was in. You could small and taste the rain in the air. One by one the drops finally started to fall. Slow at first but then all at once. He took cover in one of the shops. Great he thought to himself. Another day ruined by a storm. He was usually not in one of these moods but today was it. He had a hard life but sure why let that ruin his future. So he decided to look for something to buy to fill his time.
He sat down and had a book in his hand. It was call an adventure for the soul. The tittle seemed weak but to read about all the crazy things muggles and wizards have done in their lifetimes would be fun. He began to read the book about climbing mountains to flying to another city. He eventually wanted to go all over and then work in the ministry. About an hour later he put the book down and traveled back out.
The rain had stopped and the sun was out. He liked the smell after the rain when he felt a little gloomy. He started to walk and accidently bumped into someone.

Well, the rain had certainly suprised her. Poor Adina, dressed to kill in her newely bought outfit, the soon to be fifth year Ravenclaw was deffinately gearing to go. However, she hadn't anticipated the rain and having not brought a jacket with her at the time, Adina was forced to run into the nearest shop. Go figure, it was Zonko's. She hated this store. Why hadn't she read the sign before she entered? Oh, yeah...The rain. A young boy, no older than five years old, ran up to her, offering her a lollypop. Well, not that Adina would accept such an amount of sugar to begin with, but having been in this store, she deffinately knew better. "Shoo!" She growled, looking at the little boy like he was some sort of disease. Ugh, she really disliked children. No plans on having any either. Why her parents had a child (she was glad they did, for her sake), was beyond her. The boy returned her look, then held out the lollypop to her. She growled, took it, then reached up above to grab a bag full of vomit flavored jellybeans. "Try them. I hear it's what Harry Potter thrived off of. Did you know it was these exact Jellybeans that gave him the power to be the chosen one?" The boys eyes brightened, and he greedily dumped the entire bag into his mouth. The look that spread across his features the moment the jellybean flavor hit his tongue was almost priceless. The color vanished from his face, and Adina took that as her cue to leave the area immediately. Good thing she did, as soon as she was a few steps from him, she heard the horrid growl of his lunch coming forth and splatting on the floor. "Didn't your parents advice never to accept candy from strangers?" Adina asked, peeking over her shoulder to see the boy hunched over preparing himself for another hurl of voment. She didn't wait for an answer, instead she simply walked away, deeper into the shop, and began to admire some sticky gum. Interesting, apparently the person who cheweed a pice of this gum would have their tongue stuck to their pallet for twenty-four hours. That was hardly amusing. Adina let out an exaggerated sigh as she glanced out the window. In the background, she could hear the boy vomit some more. Yuck. That was enough to have her gag-reflex take a jump. She was in there for nearly fourty-five minutes (and earned a good lecture from the boy's mother) before the rain stopped. Finally. Adina didn't need any other sign, she practically ran out the door. Her efforts in her "escape" were apparently too quick, since the moment she was out the door, she immediately ran into someone. She caught her balance by slamming her back against the window of the joke shop. The window was wet, which meant her red top was now ruined. Fury built up in the pit of her stomach. "Watch where you're going!" She snapped, as she darted her eyes towards the culprit that ran into her. Her eyes softened a bit then, it was Gage Liam Williams. One of Gryffindor's prettier boys. She frowned. That didn't change the fact that he just ruined a shirt that probably cost more than his entire ensemble. "It's not like it's hard already having to walk in these puddled sidewalks."

He looked at Adina and realized she was the one he had ran into. She did not look to happy which was not what he wanted. Something to make his day worse. He then realized that he had ruined her shirt. It didn't look cheap and well he could tell by how upset she was. He was trying to think of a way to tell her he was sorry. The outfit did look good on her. She was attractive at least for a ravenclaw. At least she wasn't one of those slytherins.
"Sorry I didn't mean to run into you," He said to a low voice. He was not one to really talk to anyone. He really had no friends from his house or class. Kept to himself most of the time and didn't think much of it. He was watching her and thinking of a next move. It had to be a good one considering she seemed mad like he thought to himself before. "If your shirt is ruined i will replace it."
With what money he thought. His parents didn't really send him money. He worked weekends and had to sneak out to do it. Which he knew he would have fun explaining that to the school then them going to his mother and father. Which would mean that he would have to tell his father about his powers. He knew if he was lucky he could pay for a new shirt and it would all be okay.

Adina took in a big gulp of air, trying to calm herself, before she released it and stared at her shoes for a moment. Typical Adina would leave it as it was, tell him not to bother, and be on her way. But she had always fancied the idea of having a conversation with Gage. She had had a small crush on him ever since their first year here. She sighed then, and adjusted the purse on her sholder. "Ruined? Don't be daft. A little water is all," she said, smiling sweetly at him.
Crossing her arms, she glanced at their surroundings. She really did love Hogsmeade. It was so pretty, so serene. A perfect escape and shopping area. She grinned over at Gage, one hand raised high enough for her to play with the curls in her hair. "I don't believe we've ever had the true pleasure of speaking," she said, her blue eyes dancing. "Outside of class, of course."

He felt a little better about it. After all he was a klutz and there was no way to get away from that. He was no school class clown or smarty pants. He was just a school klutz. Last year before break he fell and knocked over the trophies in the hall. Thank Merlin there were only 5 of them. The head master was not happy about that. Gage had to work all summer just to fix the trophies. He couldn't remember a time when he didn't fall. He fell down the stairs at the school the other day. Stupid slytherins laughed and man did he punch the oldest. Of course they were not as bad as Ethan and man he did not like that guy. He then stopped thinking about the past and his attention went to Adina.
Adina was pretty and smart. She did know how to dress and everyone had to give her that credit. When she smiled it would cheer him up. But he was never one to tell anyone what he was feeling or if he liked anyone. But her he did. She seemed nice.
"I don't believe we've ever had the true pleasure of speaking," she said, her blue eyes dancing. "Outside of class, of course."
He looked up into her blue eyes and half smiled. "I don't believe we have." He was wanting to ask her to get a butter beer with him or maybe some food. He was starting to get scared but he would never show it. The half smile turned to a smirk. Then back to a smile.
"So how have you been?" Did she even know his name?Gage stuck his hands into the front pockets of his dark jeans.
